Combines multiple numbers to calculate combinations whose total equals the total value entered.
This is a convenient tool for calculating stamp combinations, etc. when you want to buy just the right amount by combining different items.
In the "Candidate numbers" field, enter the possible combinations as integers, separated by line breaks, spaces, or commas.
In the "Total" field, enter the total value you want to combine and match.
If a decimal value is entered, it will be rounded down to an integer.
Click the "Calculate" button to calculate the combinations that match the total value and display them in a list.
You can also exclude it as a delimiter by unchecking the "Separator" box.
For example, you can leave out the commas as delimiters for numbers with commas every three digits.
You can also ignore spaces if you end up with spaces in numbers you've copied and pasted.
Clicking the "Clear" button will delete all content in the input field.
The combination of results will be displayed using the display method selected in "How to display the calculation results".
The number of combinations is also displayed.
If the number of items exceeds 10,000, only up to 10,000 items will be displayed.
Also, if there are too many combinations, an error will be displayed.
If "Select the same thing multiple times" is not checked, each of the entered candidate numbers will be used up to once to calculate the combination that matches the total value.
If you check "Select the same thing multiple times", the system will calculate the combinations that match the total value, assuming that the same number can be selected multiple times from the entered candidate numbers.
The content entered in the input field and settings such as delimiters are saved in the browser.
Even if you close your browser, you can see the previous content when you reopen it.
